The Art of Dean Morrissey

Artistic inspiration has many sources. For Dean Morrissey, it sprang off the pages of comic books and leapt from the wonderful worlds of Disney when he was a child. He began to draw all that ran through his imagination, and he hasn’t looked back since.

Dean has written and illustrated many books, such as The Monster Trap, Ship of Dreams, The Great Kettles and others. His fully rendered oil paintings make his children's books unusual, delighting children and parents alike. Dean has also presented exciting programs for children and young adults, from grade 2 through college.
